About this house rental
Grab a drink & Relax, you are up North! Welcome to the cottage located in Onekama, Michigan on beautiful all-sports Portage Lake. Located on M-22 is in close proximity to Arcadia Bluffs, Sleeping Bear Dunes, Frankfort, and Manistee. Activities nearby include golfing, hiking, fishing, swimming, mountain biking, and casinos. While you're in the area don't miss out on the famous artesian wells, local fruit stands, great local restaurants and the gorgeous sunset views overlooking the lakes from the porch!
The four bedroom, two bath cottage provides parking spaces for four vehicles. The fully furnished kitchen is ready for family meals and the dining room is large enough for game night. Outside on large deck is a 6 person table and chairs, and a brand new cement patio with fire pit to watch the sunsets. Washer and dryer is in garage for guest use. Dock with easy steps down to waters edge also. Our private pontoon is docked on our shore station, this is not for guest use. You may bring up a boat and can launch it down the road at the public boat launch, or call Onekama Marine, Inc to check on a transient slip. No boats may be docked at our private dock. It can become wavy in the lake and we do not want any damage to our dock or your boat. Easy walk to downtown Onekama for restaurants, shopping, park, and community beach. The Internet is available for those that need it, or the local boat ramp may be calling your name. The beautiful spring-fed lake can be accessed from a pier with stairs for folks of all ages.
Don't forget to come back for fall color tours and great winter skiing at Crystal Mountain and Caberfae Peaks.

It was calm and cozy. It felt like visiting my parents house. Very relaxing. Everything you need is provided. Stores are within walking distance. Very nice central location for exploring Michigan. The weeping willow in the back yard was one of my favorite things. Could sit and watch it blow in the breeze beside the lake for hours.

House was very nice and view was amazing. Loved the two deck areas. Had a very enjoyable time! And was well situated between both Dune areas. and Loved the little town feel.

This was a very nice house to stay in with our group. It does not have air conditioning, but we did not need it during our stay. The deck and patio was where we wanted to spend all our time. It is a small town with a small town feel. The owner made communication very easy and we enjoyed our stay.
