Residence Pierra Menta

Excellent apartment for 4 adults 2 kids. Plenty of space and nicely decorated. Everything in the kitchen, salt and pepper, coffee pods, oil etc. (like at home) The beds are comfortable and the view is nice, we had a great time !!! I just don’t understand why the host left so many personal stuff in there, in closet and cabinets ?

Good size apartment and very clean. Good location close to ski hire, shops, bars and restaurants.

A little noisy but to be expected given location.

spacious ~65m2 includes a large dining/kitchen and smaller living area. Sleeping is in 3 rooms: a double and 2 small cabins each with a bunk bed. 2 separate bathrooms with shower (no baths) and plenty of storage space, kitchen etc well-equipped. Location is near ideal: the apartment is in a huge block but its access door is the one nearest to all shops & facilities so v.simple to nip out for some food or to the baker etc. Even though it’s close to lots of bars/ restaurants etc there was never a noise issue of any sort. Ski access is about 2-3 minute walk, but there’s a shortcut through the next big appartment block so you don’t have to walk uphill.

Although we’ll-equipped, there were a few too many “personal” non-standard/ decorative items in the appartment, making it feel a bit too much like somebody else’s property (which it is of course, but some may prefer a bit less clutter). Obtaining the keys was a bit poor, especially as exact arrival times can never be reliable. (keys are given to you by a single local rep who is busy doing lots of other things. In our case we had to wait ~30+ minutes having left a phone message but without even receiving an acknowledgment that somebody knew we’d arrived. It was just a bit annoying after a 12 hour journey and shouldn’t be a single point contact, in case of other contingencies). The view from the appartment is mainly the bus station & multi-storey carpark. Must say that this didn’t bother us too much because of the great location.
