Vaulted ceilings, a wraparound deck, cozy fireplace, open-concept living, and ensuite bedrooms create an easy retreat for up to six guests. Pet friendly and perfectly positioned between Carbondale, Basalt, Glenwood Springs, and Aspen, this is high-country comfort with front-row valley views.
Inside, vaulted ceilings and oversized windows fill the open-concept living space with natural light throughout the day. The living room centers around a cozy stone fireplace with an electric insert, while the plush sleeper sofa, dining table, and comfortable seating areas create an easy place to gather after long days exploring the valley.

Our stay at Sopris Sundeck was incredible. The home is beautiful, especially the views from the deck. The host was also very communicative and helpful. It is well stocked, and there is so much to do in the area. I highly recommend this home, and I hope to return sometime!

The property was lovely and as represented in the listing...except for a couple key things. We got a message from the management company on the day we were to check in that the motor on the clothes dryer wasn't working. They said there were "some drying racks" available to us and did not offer any other remediation or compensation. They left one small drying rack, which was not sufficient to hold a normal load of laundry. We happened to have come in looking to do some laundry, so this was inconvenient at best.
The other major issue for us was the loud road noise from the highway below. Maybe this wouldn't bother other people, but it was a dealbreaker for us. The deck and outdoor spaces around the property were lovely, but the road noise made spending any time on them prohibitive.
We would not rent this place again.
