Wake up just steps from the water and sip your morning coffee on the lake-facing front porch as nature wakes with you. 🌅
Alpine Lakeside Manor is a beautiful, historic hunting cabin — the first home built at Alpine Lake Resort. Because it predates zoning rules, it sits closer to the lake than any other home in the community. Throughout your stay, curated antiques and original features offer a true step-back-in-time experience — with all the essentials you need for comfort and connection.
🛌 Sleeping Arrangements (Sleeps 9–11)
Main Floor
✔ King suite w/ sitting area + desk + whirlpool tub + full sofa bed
✔ Queen bedroom
✔ Two full bathrooms
✔ Laundry room
Upper Level
✔ Two full beds
✔ One twin bed
✔ Easy access from either side of second floor
The inviting living room is perfect for gathering and playing games.

Fireplaces are not permitted for use at this time. Unauthorized use will result in a $250 fee.

🪜 Stairs & Accessibility
Exterior stairs are hand-built stone and uneven/not smooth — use caution when entering.
Indoor stairs to the upper level are very steep and do not have a handrail due to the home’s historic design.
➜ The upper level is not recommended for young children, elderly guests, or those with mobility concerns.
Good news! Two bedrooms and all three bathrooms are on the main level for easier access.
❄️ Mountain Weather & Road Conditions
Mountain weather changes quickly — snow/ice are common November–March.
4WD/AWD is strongly recommended during winter months.
No refunds/cancellations are given due to weather, road conditions, or lack of suitable vehicles.
Guests are responsible for preparing for winter travel.
🔞 Age & ID Requirement
Primary guest must be 23+ and present for the entirety of the stay.
Valid driver’s license required prior to arrival.
Failure to meet requirement will result in eviction without refund.
🚭 Smoking/Vaping
Not permitted anywhere in the property. A $200 fee will apply if evidence is found.
If smoking outside please do so away from entrances and open windows. Dispose of any debris.
🐾 Pet-Friendly
Pets welcome with $100 non-refundable fee per pet.
Must be approved before arrival.
Additional fees apply for:
• Unregistered pets
• Excessive cleaning or damage
• 🚫 Pet waste left on deck/porch ($50 cleanup fee)

Four women on year 40 of getting together each summer. We stayed at Alpine lake 10 years ago, but in a different property not by the lake. This old log house is perfect in terms of location. Our absolute favorite is the porch and experiencing the lake in the early morning sun, afternoon and evening!What a delight. The beds are comfortable and the showers hot. The kitchen has a nice selection of stainless steel pots and kitchen gadgets. The stairs to the upstairs do not have a banister, so only one of us braved that. We did know that beforehand from the listing. The steps to the porch to get into the house are a bit ancient, but you can go in and then use the garage to enter the house and carry all of your stuff in. All in all, a beautiful week in a comfortable historic log cabin. I would recommend this to you!
