Makin Waves is a great place to stay on Galveston island. Our family, (grandparents, parents n a 2 and 4 year old) met for a weekend at the beach and it couldnt have gone better. The location is in a great neighborhood, close to the beach and the house is well equipped tand attractive and house is attractive

Our stay was perfect for an extended family getaway! I can be a little bit of a clean freak- but this house was spotless! Just like the photos!
The location is also one of my favorites on the island; a beautiful and calm neighborhood with amenities and a very short walk to the beach (less than 5 min).
We were a little nervous about it being too chilly in October, but the hot tub was a huge bonus. It was very nice to hop in and wind down after a long day. We will definitely be booking this property again next time we are in Galveston!
