Host is great but we just love the atmosphere of the condo and spending time on the beach/ocean and when we can't back fown there we love the balcony. We have stayed several times there and each time has been great. Will always look for this condo first when we are booking a trip to Daytona.

This unit is tranquilly updated and the oceanfront view from even the front door took us by surprise every time we reentered. Very comfortable bed and accommodations. Our point of contact was also very responsive and helpful. All of this made our 12th anniversary and maiden vacation without our children quite memorable!

The condo unit is updated and decor is very cute. There was some confusion during checkin as to where the parking pass was (binder said one place but they kept it someplace else). I had to call the host to find out where it was - not a big deal and they were very nice. The rental provides lots of extras such as beach chairs, towels, boogie boards, and a beach bag.
However, after going out to dinner the first night we came back to cockroaches. A few full sized and probably 20-30 baby ones in the bathroom and kitchen. I did not contact the host as there were signs in the elevator stating that extermination was happening on the 2 floors below us the next day, so I assume this is a known issue. I did find bug spray under the sink, so I sprayed the bathroom and kitchen area.
If there had been any availability in the area at a reasonable cost, I would have asked to check out. However, being the week it was, everyone was booked or prices were ridiculous. After I sprayed, we found less bugs the rest of the time we were there, but they never stopped completely.
We ended up washing all the dishes and silverware before we used it each time and putting everything in the fridge (including the paper towels, etc..). Again, the unit itself is VERY clean, but the property in general is worn down. The pool is closed and it doesn’t look like it will be open anytime soon. View is amazing and it is a fairly quiet location. If bug issue is remedied, I would rent again.
