Very welcoming host & great view

The view was absolutely beautiful, and the host had decorated for Christmas.

Overall, it was great for what we needed with just the right amount of beds and bathrooms. The view is perfect! The furnishings were up to date and beautiful. The only drawback is the road noise, which can't be helped, but with a good brown noise machine, fan or cell phone set to brown noise nearby, it does calm the traffic sound good enough. It was clean, and we had all we needed.

The home itself was beautiful and I truly enjoyed my trip overall. This was my first time booking with VRBO. During my stay, I did encounter some bugs inside the home and had an issue with the lock not properly locking. The host was very responsive and mentioned she would have addressed things immediately had I called. Personally, I was on vacation and didn’t want to spend my trip troubleshooting issues away from work.I do want to acknowledge that the host handled the situation professionally. She apologized, refunded the cleaning fee, and explained that pest control had recently serviced the property. She also stated she would personally go back through the home and inspect everything herself. The apology and accountability meant more to me than the refund itself.I believe the cleaning crew may have simply needed to do a more thorough walkthrough before guest arrival. Despite the issues, I appreciated the host’s responsiveness and willingness to make things right, and I still enjoyed my overall experience.
