About this apartment rental
This updated flat is just a splash away from Lover’s Point Beach and the Coastal Recreational Trail. Part of a multi-unit Victorian, the “A” unit is completely private. Enter the ocean view living room through a glass-enclosed, vine-covered porch and relax on the loveseat in front of a huge flat screen TV. There’s a dining table for two and a compact kitchen with a four burner gas range, refrigerator, microwave, and a stainless steel topped island (no dishwasher). The bedroom has a platform bed and a second TV, and the spacious bath has a tub/shower. There’s a shared, credit card-operated washer/dryer in the garage. Street parking only. For a couple who wants to beat the heat of Sacramento for a few days, the Fountain Avenue apartment can’t be beat. We were very impressed with the cleanliness and well stocked property but best of all was the fantastic location a block from Lover’s Point. My only suggestion is that a new couch is in order for the living room.

Awesome experience here! Close to everything—Pacific Grove is a great little town for walking, dining, and shopping and this apartment allows walking to everything. It’s right next to the bayfront walkway, which has spectacular water views. The apartment itself is extremely spacious with a large bathroom and full kitchen equipped with all we needed for our stay. The bed was very comfortable and there was a lot of closet space. Some sound from tenants above walking at times but other than that, perfectly quiet and in a lovely neighborhood. A couple of minutes by car to all Monterey attractions as well. We would absolutely stay again!

A great stay if you want access to a kitchen and walking distance to the rec trail and downtown PG. The cost and amenities are comparable to the midrange hotels in the area. Great for couples - we would stay again.

Nice place. great location, easy parking. quiet at night. spacious. plenty of clean linens. they almost nailed it! almost... although not fancy decor it had everything we were looking for... except one important item... and the only reason I rated three stars rather than 5. The bed was way too firm for our liking, and they layered on a couple cheap mattress covers which offered little to no benefit. seems like a terrible idea to put an ultra firm mattress, which is only suitable for a small percentage of the population in a VRBO. We didn't sleep well and I was not a happy camper about the bed.
