About this house rental
Named after the owner's extensive boat collection, this single story home has a fireplace, hardwood floors, and a peek of Monterey Bay. There's a king bed in the master, two standard twins (38"x75") in the guest room, and a new queen sofa sleeper in the study. Both baths have walk-in showers lined in travertine. The backyard brick patio has a barbecue, a chiminea, and a rose garden: if you like to be close to town and close to nature, you'll feel right at home here.
From the annual Butterfly Parade to the apple trees around Caledonia Park, there's a reason Pacific Grove is called "America's last hometown." A more casual—but no less charming—alternative to Carmel, Pacific Grove is a seaside enclave of restored Victorians and beach bungalows. And the walkable downtown has something for everyone: boutiques, galleries, antique and consignment shops, a cinema, a bookstore—and too many coffeehouses to count.
