THE SPACE:
Driftwood Dreams Cottage is the upstairs unit conveniently situated within an easy walk of the beach and local eateries. This prime location provides effortless access to the plethora of activities available in the Destin area, both on land and at sea. Catering to groups of up to six (with a maximum of four adults), our cottage promises a comfortable and unforgettable stay. For larger gatherings, consider coupling this unit with our twin unit upstairs, collectively accommodating up to 12 guests (eight adults at most).

Please note that 2 spots are available per unit. Guests must print the parking passes sent as part of the check-in instructions and place them on the driver's side dashboard. Cars without parking passes will be towed by the HOA.
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
Your safety matters. One security camera is located at the front door. It is outward-facing and does not point into the interior.
Your total reservation fee for this home includes a per-booking damage waiver fee, including any applicable taxes. The damage waiver ensures coverage for any accidental damage caused to the home or its contents, including appliances and furnishings, up to a maximum of $1,500. Damage due to smoking and pets is excluded. To benefit from this coverage, you must report the incident to the host before you check out.
Cancellation Policy:
Cancel 30+ days before arrival: 100% refund (minus Processing Fee)
Cancel 14+ days before arrival: 50% refund (minus Processing Fee)
Cancel fewer than 14 days before arrival: No refund
A non-refundable 4% Processing Fee applies to all reservations and is not returned in the event of cancellation.

This property requires a separate rental agreement to be reviewed and signed after booking. A link to the full agreement will be sent through the Airbnb message thread in your booking confirmation. It includes guest and property details, stay dates, fees, house rules (e.g., no parties, no smoking, pet rules), cancellation terms, and guest/host responsibilities. Please note that check-in instructions will only be released after the rental agreement is signed.
☞︎ No smoking is allowed (including vape). If you smoke inside the home you will be charged $250. You will be charged an increase in cleaning fee, and you will be charged for any damages.
☞︎ No pets are allowed. We love our furries as much as you, but no pets are allowed due to allergies. If you sneak in a pet of any kind you will be charged an additional $250 and you will be asked to leave.
☞︎ Person booking and checking in must be at least 25 years old to reserve and must occupy the rental property throughout the whole booking.
☞︎ Please do not use Flushable Wipes. We have good plumbing but it does not handle flushable wipes well. Clogged toilets due to flushable wipes will result in a plumbing service charge of $250, with an additional $250 if the services are required after hours.
☞︎ Use of the pool is AT YOUR OWN RISK. The hosts are NOT responsible for any injuries that result from the use of the swimming pool.
☞︎ Please do not remove furniture from the unit, including patio chairs.
☞︎ No parties are allowed.
☞︎ No excessive noise after 10 pm or before 8 am.
☞︎ Maximum occupancy of 6 people (4 adults). Off-site visitors are not permitted without prior permission and are subject to a $100 fee per extra guest.
☞︎ We follow our stated cancellation policies under all circumstances. We highly recommended guests purchase travel insurance to cover weather related issues (tropical storms, hurricanes, etc.) and illnesses that may arise and interrupt travel.
☞︎ If an item is left behind, we're happy to help return it. A $75 flat fee applies to locate, package, and ship forgotten items within the continental U.S. Payment is required before the item is shipped. Additional fees may apply for oversized, heavy, or expedited shipments. Items not requested within 14 days may be donated or discarded at our discretion.
☞︎Unapproved late checkouts may result in a $50 fee per hour (or partial hour) past the scheduled checkout time. If the delay interferes with the cleaning schedule or the next guest's arrival, additional charges may apply.

We had an amazing trip! It was so nice being right in front of the swimming pool, especially with kids. The beach is also very close which is a huge plus. The cottage is beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. Bedroom has the most comfortable bed EVER!!! The rotating pizza cooker was so fun to use. This was our fifth trip to Destin, and we enjoyed this stay more than any other. Thank you!

My wife and I were looking for a nice condo in an area that was convenient to were my children and grandchildren were staying and within walking distance to the beach. I found this property and booked it for 10 days. The communication was outstanding, receiving a reply with any and all questions in a very quick manner. I felt that everything that was described about the property was spot on. It was in a lovely area that had a very comfortable home feeling. We felt very safe and everything one needed was provided. I was concerned about parking, which was not an issue and the spots were large enough were our car wasn't beaten up as with smaller spots. I was very impressed with the cleanliness, and how comfortable the bed was and how it was just the right size for the two of us. The air conditioner was more than sufficient and kept the place very nice. It ended up being a 5 minute walk to were my children and grandchildren were staying...absolutely perfect! We will most definitely keep this as a favorite place to stay for vacations.

Very clean, pleasant place to stay! Close to everything and a short walk to the beach. It was our 9 months old first time to see the ocean, and the emerald waters at Crystal Beach was just stunning!!

It's a beautiful condo with great access to the beach and pool. I was disappointed that some items were not available that were mentioned in the description. We purposely did not bring our cooler since it was listed that they had one there to use. It ended up being beach chairs that had a zipper pouch cooler. There was no ironing board to use the iron on and no coffee filters for the coffee machine. They did say they would send someone to drop some off that night but no one ever came. When we checked in, the refrigerator was leaking on the inside and the outside pretty majorly. They did send someone out to look at it but it continued to leak the majority of the stay which was a pain to keep cleaning up. I was told someone was going to also bring extra towels to clean up the kitchen floor due to the fridge leaking and we only had four bath towels but those never showed up either. The ice machine did not work so we had to buy ice. I'm not one to complain but there were a lot of inconveniences and missing things.They were very nice to talk to though and responded very quickly.
