About this cottage rental
This gorgeous downtown property is surrounded by beautiful perennials, climbing vines and flower bushes. The Cottage is located kitty corner from the Gus Klenke Garage on hwy 42 in downtown Ellison Bay and within walking distance to Door County Cider, local pottery shops, and an antique shop. Local restaurants and coffee shops include Kick Ash Coffee, Brew Coffee House, Wickman House, Mink River Basin Bar and Restaurant, and The Viking Grill all within walking distance. The Pioneer Store is less than a city block away and has deli meats, beer, wine, liquor and fresh and frozen foods.
The Cottage is attached to a seasonal retail shop with its own personal entrance. There is a spacious parking lot and a very large enclosed patio area with a picnic table, patio table and bench. The kitchen has all the tableware and silverware needed for eight individuals as well as a coffee maker, toaster, pots and pans, full refrigerator, electric stove/oven and a dishwasher. The dining area has a fold-out table that seats 8 and has a large bay window. The living room is open and bright with a full picture window looking out at the patio. There is a brand new cozy couch with additional seating facing an electric fireplace and large screen tv that includes Spectrum cable and wifi. Provided are also Pendleton beach towels for your use. There is one bathroom that has a large sit-down tiled shower. A set of towels, hand towels and washcloths are provided for each guest. The first bedroom is very large with a four poster queen bed and corner windows perfect for relaxing with a good book. Large closet and shelves with a luggage rack and all bedding with extra blankets and sheets provided. The second bedroom has a comfortable queen bed with cozy bedding and extra blankets and sheets provided. A small closet and full length shelving unit for clothing storage. The third bedroom has three twin beds and two closets with lots of hanging room. All bedding is provided with extra blankets and sheets.

We enjoyed being close to the restaurants in Ellison Bay and walking in the neighborhood. We received a quick response when having some difficulty with WIFI which was appreciated.

We are 3 over 75 women. We didn't walk to shops but it was easy to drive wherever we wanted to go. We had trouble getting into the house because I had printed out the information and forgot it. Next time I'll save the email somewhere on my phone. It's difficult to get help from vrbo. The house was very clean and the owners were attentive. We enjoyed our stay.

It would have been good to say up front that the interior design business is in the same house as the Garden Cottage guests.
