Property nice accomodations not nice. Location to hosts home, cleanlyness poor , odd stay dog camped oit under home being agresive to our dogs all add to unpleasent stay. Would not return.

We loved the container cabin—it was super quaint and packed with everything you’d need for a comfortable stay. While we really enjoyed our experience, the cabin did feel a bit dirty in spots. I knew it was rustic going in, but some things, like the floorboards, seemed overlooked. The covers also had a damp smell, which was a little off-putting. It wasn’t a big enough issue to mention during our stay, but I’d suggest making sure the bedding is fresh each time. The shower curtain also looked dirty—maybe it’s just the design, but something that looks cleaner might give guests more peace of mind.That said, we truly enjoyed our time there and will definitely stay again. These were just small things that didn’t take away from the overall experience.

We loved our stay! Our pup had the best time and the kids loves the rustic cabin. It was cold but we knew that going into it and were dressed accordingly. The heater kept it warm with the door shut. Our dog was very happy while we were at the Ark for the day. The host is wonderful and vet accommodating. He made sure the heater and the lights were on since we arrived in the dark. Super cute property we would love to return!

Great little place to get away. Stayed 2 nights while visiting the ark with 2 of the grandkids. We enjoyed the walkson the property and just sitting outside in the evenings. There was a dog that came up ,sadie, sweet as could be. My grandaughter enjoyed her. They chose this place over a hotel, so glad they did. Made some good memories and hope to return. .

My son and I came for a short getaway to the container cabin. What a neat setup! Josh has done a great job creating a comfortable yet rustic place to hang out. I wish we could have enjoyed some of the other amenities on the property, but the temps were in the single digits. Not great hiking weather. It can get quite cold in the cabin, though there is a wood stove and space heater to combat the frigid conditions. As other reviews mentioned, you'll be "roughing it" if you come to the container cabin. This isn't a Hampton Inn. But if you're looking for a unique adventure with a great host who is very responsive and treats you like family, I'd highly recommend it. I hope to come back again down the road! We had an amazing time at the farm in the cozy container cabin. We got to explore the farms walking trails which were some beautiful sites. Josh was an amazing host, anytime I messaged him he got right back with me, no waiting, Josh was very quick to fix an issue we had ( not a major issue ) he was on top of it. He gave us lots of information about the activities we were going to. We got to see deer on the walking trails and in the backyard of our cabin which was amazing. Everything about the farm I just loved. We are hoping to go back in the spring and I would definitely go back and stay on the farm. Thank you so much Josh. They Hesters.

Small Container 1982 era. Josh has made the interior feel like it is straight from the hills. The container is insulated and lined with beautiful repurposed wood. A space heater makes this small space quite comfortable with evening temps hitting the low 30's. The twin sized bed(s), horse tank shower, and bathroom sink are unique. There are many camping type people that I can think of that would enjoy this little spot to unwind and find peace.

My wife and I finally had a chance to get a night away without children, and this property made the getaway perfect! The location is just far enough away from town to get the feeling of being away from it all, but close enough to get things when needed. Josh’s accommodations were amazing. We really enjoyed playing horse shoes and a little competitive frisbee golf. Wish we had more than just one night to stay there. We will definitely book again in the future, and even bring the whole family!

The single lane road on the way in gave me a bit of anxiety, but we didn't run into anyone going the other way. The host was accommodating and communicative. The cabin was as advertised. The water pump was loud, so we didn't bother with showers or much water usage - but it all seemed to work out. Might visit again - especially if he continues to expand and the newer ones are a bit more refined. Prototypes are always a bit rough.

We was on a family vacation. It was our first time to Kentucky. We enjoyed our stay. The cabin is so beautiful pictures don't do it justice. I loved finding all the little treasure in it. Josh did a wonderful job on it.The outside area was great. We enjoyed setting at dusk by the fire watching the family of deer.The sunrise was wonderful.We loved the hiking trails and the rolling hills.

This unique property affords all the relaxation of camping, without the hassle of pulling a trailer or worrying about a leaky tent. The charm and homey comfort of this converted c-can, made this one-of-a-kind experience enjoyable…. Would have liked to go hiking around the property but ran out of time. We loved our stay on the farm. Everything was clean and cozy. My husband has been dying to go camping and we found this to be as close as possible that I would do. I don't know that I prepared for the closeness of our family of 4, but it was fun and an adventure...will definitely be a core memory, from the family of deer and wild turkeys that we would see to the stock tank shower with a bucket overhead. It was fun and I can definitely see why everyone gives raving reviews. Josh was always so nice and responsive.

We were impressed at the work put into it. We enjoyed our stay and it was close to the Ark which is what we came to see. It is very quiet at the container cabin and it is rustic just as mentioned in the description. The grounds were kept up and clean. We didn't get a chance to walk the trails as it rained for a day or two. Josh was very helpful in staying in communication by text to see if we needed anything. We appreciate the opportunity to have visited. Thank you.

Very beautiful property that was so nice to build an sit by the fire while watching the many lightning bugs. The cabin was very unuque with creative decor. We love camping and it was nice to have the cabin and not need to worry about pitching a tent. Visiting the Ark and creation Museum was close to the property. Thanks to Josh and I recommend this outdoor oasis. The sunrises were amazing.

We really enjoyed our stay in the Container. It was so clean, wonderfully decorated and just the right amount of privacy. It's so unusual for us to sleep well when we travel, but we slept so well this trip! We enjoyed meeting Josh our host. He was quick to answer our messages and we enjoyed talking to him about his work he did on the container. I would highly recommend staying here!!

This little cabin was so cozy! We all fell in love with it! The outside area was great! We had a constant breeze and had great weather. Josh and his family were very friendly and made us feel very welcome and Josh was just a text away if we needed anything! He even stocked snacks and ice in the barn you could purchase. It was nice to be able to get ice right there for our cooler coming home instead of driving to a store!! We definitely want to go back! My granddaughter didn't want to leave!! She wanted to give it a 10, but we only had 5 stars to choose! Thank you Josh, our stay couldn't have been better!

Cozy cabin with many amenities. Far enough away, the only noises were crickets and birds. Very comfortable for sleeping, was able to open the doors and get a breeze going through. A/C and heater were easily available but not needed.

Loved the uniqueness of the 'cabin'! It fit our needs very well as we came on a Thursday night and went to the ARK encounter the next day, it was very close, a quick drive away! Stayed another night and left Saturday morning. It was so peaceful, just what we needed!!
