Less than two blocks away is Gillespie Park, with tennis courts, basketball courts, dog park, pond and gazebo. This charming pet-friendly retreat is actually a detached guest house set on a quiet, private gated corner lot on the edge of The Rosemary District and Gillespie Park. Dogs and cats welcome! Pets are people too:)

Our recent trip to Hazel’s Hideaway was perfect. Our host met us upon arrival and was very helpful in explaining some info and she was also available when we checked out. This cottage was clean and had everything you could possibly need. The pool was awesome. Clean and warm thanks to the sunshine. If you’re looking for a peaceful place, this is it.

So I arrived at 2pm when it told me on the information page to arrive at the own greeted me with what are you doing here , and that the place was not clean the cleaning girl was on her way we did not get in there until after 4 pm . The place was clean but the sheets that was in the closet was dirty. The pool was nice and the in law apartment only sleeps 4 , not 6 . there was a futon and a bed only. The owner peeked through the blinds and curtain while we was in the pool. Creepy.
