About this house rental
Welcome to this superb 4-bedroom Tequesta retreat that we lovingly named "Tortuga de Tequesta". With 2 king beds, 1 queen bed, and a bunkroom containing a double/single bunk and another single bed this house is perfect for families or groups of friends. The owners of the house live here part-time and want to make sure you are as comfortable as they are during their stay so you should expect to find a fully stocked kitchen, ample towels, sheets, and amenities both indoor and outside.
The days here are fun and sun-filled which naturally requires a good night's rest. Our Master en-suite features a king bed with pillows, sheets, comforter, a closet & dresser, and a sliding barn door to enter the attached bathroom featuring a double headed shower. Two additional bedrooms sit off of the living area with one featuring a king bed and the second with a queen set that are both steps from the second full bathroom. For additional guests or children we have a bunk-room featuring a single/double bunkbed and a second unattached single bed.
The backyard has recently been updated so that you can enjoy the phenomenal South Florida weather by playing in the pool or relaxing by the firepit while surrounded by a beautifully landscaped yard. The in-ground pool features a sunshelf which is perfect to relax or play with a young child, an attached hot tub, and has the ability to be heated year round. We have created multiple places to lounge including a picnic tables to enjoy a snack after swimming, a 7 person outdoor conversation set with a firepit, and sun-loungers to catch some rays. A recently installed outdoor shower provides a refreshing rinse-off from the pool and is heated so can be used as a full shower before going out.
Of course, you should expect all of the modern conveniences including:
- TV's in every bedroom (streaming services or cable)
- Business speed WiFi
- AC/Heat
- Washer & Dryer
- Dishwasher
- Pop-up desks that you can place in any room
- Hair Dryers
- BBQ Grill
- Coffee Maker, Blender, Kettle & more
While the house is wonderful you definitely will want to see the surrounding area which makes Jupiter so unique. We are less than a mile from the intracoastal, 3.5 miles to Jonathan Dickinson State Park, 5-7 minutes from Coral Cove Beach or 12-15 from Jupiter & Juno Beach (Juno Beach allows dogs), and just fifteen minutes from the Loggerhead Marine Sanctuary. When hungry you will find yourself within a 5-minute drive to the up and coming culinary scene in Tequesta or a 10 minute drive will give you access to Jupiter's numerous offerings.
We welcome you to make yourself comfortable in our home and fall in love with all that Tequesta has to offer just as we have.

From the booking process to the comfortable stay, this has been the best vacation rental we've ever had. We have rented our fair share of places, ans it always seems like there's no comfortable sitting space, there's not enough essentials to get you through a night, you don't have basic kitchen gadgets like a can opener, or some other annoying inconvenience that comes with renting a vacation home. This place was the exception to the rule! There wasn't a single thing that we needed and didn't have. The home was clean, comfortable, and fully and logically stocked. The location was perfect for getting to multiple beaches within 10 minutes. The backyard oasis provided hours of much needed relaxation time in the beautiful pool when the windy beaches just weren't doing it for us anymore. I highly recommend a visit to Blowing Rocks Preserve at both high and low tide. The hosts Sean and Jack were incredibly accommodating and very responsive even though we never found ourselves needing anything. They were sure to check in to make sure all was good and let us know they were available if we did need them. They also provide plenty of information on their website and in their book in the house in case you have questions. We would book this place again if we ever visit the area again. Very pleased with our stay and the hosts! Highly recommend! Thank you Jack and Sean!!

House is exactly we were expecting and more! Literally has everything you need from the kitchen, room for your group to spread out, pool/beach items, towels, to beach chairs/umbrellas. Beds, couch, out door seating all comfortable for relaxing! The backyard is a little slice of paradise. The pool and hot tub were a hit. AC cold and fans in every room an even on back porch for extra comfort. I would definitely rent this house again. This time I’m bringing my grands!
