There is just no beating being so close to the waterfront! Gorgeous views of the water and outlying islands, and the sound of the surf against the seawall is so soothing. Parking was a little tight, and difficult finding the right number the first time. Kitchen was well-equipped. Bed and couch were comfortable. Messages to management company were addressed with reasonable promptness.

Unit was very nice and just as promoted online. The privacy of the ground level lanai was a huge plus! Gorgeous landscaping and just steps away from a very private beach perfect for swimming and snorkeling. Easy location in Lahaina, near restaurants. Would definitely stay there again!

We've stayed at Pohailani over seven times in the past decade, always in oceanfront units, and this was our first stay in this unit . While we enjoyed our visit, several maintenance issues need attention.Positives:Amazing Location & Views: Direct oceanfront with stunning views of Moloka‘i, Lāna‘i, and gorgeous sunsets.Wildlife: We saw whales, sea turtles, birds, and crabs—bring binoculars!Functional Kitchen: Basic cookware and all major appliances worked well.Comfortable Bed & AC: King-size bed was cozy, and the freestanding AC kept the unit cool.Quiet, Friendly Complex: Peaceful atmosphere, though some road noise was noticeable.Convenient Laundry: A paid facility is available across the street.Needs Improvement:Cleanliness & Maintenance: Floors were dirty upon arrival (but quickly cleaned by "My Perfect Stays" management company), the main window blind was broken, and the sliding screen door was difficult to use.Lanai & Décor: Rusty lanai furniture (management brought tablecloth), non-functioning kitchen lights, worn décor, and dirty beach storage box.Pest Issues: Tiny ants appeared in the unit.These issues didn’t ruin our stay, but they affected comfort. We'd consider returning if improvements are made, as the location is truly special.
