Dora is an independent part of a beautiful Villa, inserted in the prestigious context of the Pineta Community in Arenzano (Ge). The house is very charming and features a huge terrace of 100 square meters that overlooks the sea and surrounded on three sides by a well-kept and lush garden with flounces. As soon as you enter the villa you realize that you are entering a special place that can instantly cleanse the body and mind, stressed by everyday labors. In Dora House you will smile, it will be for the wonderful view that takes your breath away, it will be for the comfort and the wide spaces that the house offers, it will be for the atmosphere so sunny and rich in nature with lemons, vines and aromatic herbs everywhere. For those who are not interested in the poetic aspects of the holiday but evaluate the choice according to the practicality of the services, it is useful to know that the house is equipped with modern and functional Smeg kitchen, with island structure and complete with dishwasher, oven and microwave. The spacious living room features a massive 8-seater wood table, a large sofa that converts into a comfortable double bed, a 43-inch digital TV, DVD, Netfix available and stereo music. There is also a reading area with supplied library and WiFI with wireless modem. The bathroom is spacious and comfortable with bath and shower. The bedroom is fitted with a comfortable wardrobe and a fixed mosquito net to sleep smoothly even with the window wide open.
Dora is currently equipped for 4 people (2 in a double room + 2 on the sofa bed) and represents the opportunity for a dream vacation for a couple seeking privacy and tranquility, or for a family who appreciates the spacious spaces and proximity at the sea. Naturally, the house is also ideal for a group of friends who want to spend a relaxing holiday with fun, taking advantage of the many opportunities offered by the Pineta and Arenzano to return to Villa and arrange a patio on the terrace. It is a lovely flat overall, we liked the space in the bathroom, the dining area and the patio. Bedding needs improvement as 2 have to share one blanket on each bed and the blankets /sheets are made for summer, not for spring, fall or winter when it is chilly outside. As soon as somebody lives in the flat upstairs, it is disturbing as one can hear everything below even if people are not loud when speaking. But you hear moving of chairs etc. like if it happened in your apartment. The managers are very nice people who were very friendly and helpful.

Terrace: perfect sea view, new nice lounge area and new dining table (differing to pictures). Kitchen: well equipped find also different spices. Kitchen hood was greasy (lighting cover missing) and basins could not be closed.
Housekeeping room: here you will find washing machine, sink, mop, small broom, waste containers, several cleaning and anti-mosquit agents. You can realize that the bathroom (also the house) is getting a bit long in the tooth, but everything is working perfect, especially the flush which sounds like a F16 jet propulsion. This could startle you when used by neigbours in the bathroom at upper, second apartment. The house is clairaudient.
Two sliding windows in the living room could not be locked (locking system loosen/not fixed). Sleeping room: window has a fly screen (all other windows have no fly screens). Wooden build-in wardrobe (smelled musty). If you have open the window you can hear the traffic at via del mare. The bed is very simple (wooden boards with mattress on top), squeaking and not very comfortable. The garden is under service. Barbecue has already seen better times. The apartment was not fully clean. Living room, kitchen and housekeeping room were not tidy. Nevertheless it's a nice and cosy apartment with potential of 5 stars. We are not nit-pick, know all the problems of houses close to the sea, but we have a lot of experiances and know comperative accommondations. We could only fully recommend when basic cleaning, some maintenance work and new painting will be arranged in the apartment.
