About this house rental
Here you are offered a unique opportunity to stay in the completely renovated Sand.
A 19th century ship at Lake Hjälmaren beach, rebuilt to modern, spacious standard.
In this fantastic accommodation you will have a fantastic location on the lake, completely separated by the forest as the nearest neighbor.
On the other side of Hjälmaren, the magic story fair Stora Sundby, where you can take a short rowing trip, rejoices.
3 bedrooms and extra beds give you every opportunity to live in a modern accommodation without being disturbed by the outside world.
New and modern kitchen with all accessories, TV with DVD player, washing machine and dryer - We also make sure you have clean towels and sheets in place without having to worry about the outside world's stress and requirements. Internet with Wifi is available on site.
Instead, spend the day hiking in the woods, reading a book on the veranda or why not borrow a rowing boat and go fishing? Then round off bathing and swimming from your own pier, without neighbors or other curious ones.

We (group of 6) have spent a week at this lovely place. The house and location are wonderful. In the middle of the forest, with a sauna next to the lake you can calm down and enjoy your holidays.

Best house with best surrounding - Sauna, own beach and beautiful nature (we saw two elks :-)

Checking in went well; we met Nina and followed her car in ours to get to the property; it is 5 Km off the main road and the road surface is gavel/stones. My husband was a bit sad at that point since there was no way he could ride is racing bike he had with him on this surface. However, all sadness left as we got to the house and went inside. Outside, the location is fantastic with stunning views over the lake and to Stora Sunby Slott on the other side. Inside, wow. The house much have been built about 10 years ago (guess on my part) but the style outside is very Swedish summer house style. Inside, the building work of the floors and windows etc. is fantastic, great attebtion to detail and it is beautifully decorated. Nina showed
us round and explained a few things that needed explaining. One of these things is that the tap water, although safe to drink, does not taste very nice (but is OK for tea and coffee) and so a bottle of water had been provided in the fridge. It would have been good to know this in advance since we could have brought water with us instead of having to buy plastic bottles at the local supermarket. However, that was the ONLY minor annoyance and we had a very happy week there, sitting on the deck, reading, looking at the view, swimming in the lake, repeat :-)
We will return, with a mountain bike and not a raod bike!!

Great, secluded, the house has everything you will need, clean, modern, cozy. An absolutely lovely stay and we’d love to come back another time! A couple of loungechairs on the porch would make it all just perfect though, as there is only table and chairs at the moment. Notice that the TV has no channels, so bring DVDs, Apple TV or similar if you wish to use the TV. Thank you for a great week!
