Surroundings
Here you have the opportunity to stay in a newly renovated cottage from the late 1800s with an adjoining guesthouse. You’ll enjoy complete peace and quiet here, with horses and the forest as your neighbors. You can take leisurely strolls through the woods or spot wildlife out in the fields. In the summer, Lake Hjälmaren and lovely swimming spots are nearby.
There are also pleasant day-trip destinations nearby, such as Stora Sundby Castle—which features a café in the summer, a farm shop, and lovely walking trails—as well as Parken Zoo in Eskilstuna and Julita Farm.
A grocery store, food stalls, and a gas station are located in Stora Sundby, about a 10-minute drive away.
Torpet—the main building
The first floor consists of common areas. When you enter the house, you’ll find a room with large windows and plenty of natural light. Here you’ll find a coat rack and a dining table that seats up to 8 people.
Next, you’ll enter a newly renovated kitchen with a table that can serve as a prep area or a dining spot for 1–2 people.
The kitchen is directly adjacent to the living room, which features a sofa, seating, a TV, and a wood-burning stove.
The upper floor consists of two bedrooms with double beds and a bathroom with a washer and dryer.
Guest House
Adjacent to the cottage is the guest house, which has two bedrooms—one with a double bed and the other with a 140-bed. There is also a bathroom with a toilet and shower.
The entire cottage and guest house were completely renovated in 2022; this has also affected the garden, which is still growing back, so it will not be in perfect condition during the spring of 2023.

So nicely renovated classic Swedish cottage where the old style an history is kept but now combined and extended with necessary modernities for a relaxed vacation.
The surroundings are so relaxing, with the nature and farming landscape as neighbours. So kind host with feeling for what’s important for a little better experience than normal.
