This waa our second year to stay for our anniversary fishing trip. The house was close to Pickwick and perfect for me and my husband.

This was a great location. Peaceful area, but still close access to necessities. Needs a few repairs, but overall very nicely decorated and well furnished. We enjoyed sitting on the porch together in the evening and the kids had fun running around the yard.

Nice property and friendly host. Right off a busy highway so don’t let dogs run without supervision. Dogs from property next to house would visit regularly as well.

The property is clean & check in easy. However, the listing was incorrect. I could have found a property closer to the lake that was more convenient but I chose this due to the fact it listed 2 bathrooms. When I contacted the host, she just said "I never said it had two baths". However, the listing showed it did (I have a screenshot as proof). No apology or promise to correct. We left before checkout time & headed to the lake. My daughter's boyfriend left his service revolver in the bedroom since he could not leave in his vehicle overnight. Anyway, we had barely pulled out of the drive before they were already there cleaning. Again, it was before check out time so we could have been going back after picking up food. I know they indicated that they had cameras on the property but I found it almost creepy that they were watching so closely that they were there instantly when we left & that it was before check out time so we could have been coming back. It also made me wonder if they had capability to hear through the speakers. Again - just seemed a little creepy.
