Houses on the gorgeous island of Gotland

Everything was fine

There was enough room for four people and even for six people. In The kitchen was all you need for eating, enough plates, glases etc.

The house met all expectations, spacious and nicely furnished. The location in the middle of the island is ideally suited for excursions. We really enjoyed the days there and can only recommend the trip.

Our cabin in the country just outside the village of Dalhem was a real star find. You can tell straightaway this is a much loved family country cottage, which feels homely and comfortable and has pretty much everything you need. Although we were only two, there’s easily space enough for a small family or two couples sharing. The house is well maintained and well presented, furnished and decorated. You are right out in the countryside here – and although there’s some houses and farms nearby it’s very quiet, with space all around you and views across the gently rolling Gotland countryside. A great veranda too for summer evening sitting out or barbeques, and for watching the stars and night sky. Time really does seem to go slower here! Easy to get to Visby and shops – but you’ll need a car. In fact the whole island is easy to explore from here – the cottage is ideally situated for this. Great countryside, roads and footpaths for cycling and walking too. This was our first time in Gotland but we’d definitely think of coming back. Bjorn and Malin have made a beautiful cosy and welcoming holiday cottage here, and their communications and directions before we arrived made the whole thing very straightforward, thank you Bjorn and Malin.
