About this house rental
The houses are built in the Gotlandic tradition with wooden roofs. The courtyard connects the two buildings into a cohesive space where guests can move about freely without being seen by passersby. Outdoor seating areas facing multiple directions allow you to sit outside for much of the day, no matter where the sun is.
The Ekstakusten Nature Reserve, which includes a bird sanctuary, is five kilometers away, and from there you have views of Stora and Lilla Karlsö. The seaside resorts on western Gotland are a five- to ten-minute drive away, and beaches on the eastern side take thirty to forty minutes to reach.
Visby, with its medieval city walls and rose-filled alleys, is a forty-minute drive away. A day trip to Fårö offers a landscape of sea stacks, beautiful beaches, and the Ingmar Bergman Museum. Within a five-mil radius, you’ll find golf courses, go-kart tracks, a high-rope course, and a zoo, and in the summer, the island offers concerts, theater, and restaurants serving locally sourced food.
