Tryon's palace, downtown and the NC History Museum are only one block away. Walk the surrounding neighborhoods to view restored houses from various architectural eras from the initiial founding of New Bern to Victorian era residences.

Great location, beautiful apartment and absolutely perfect for our needs. Everything is within walking space. Keep in mind that it is on the street, so you will hear people talking, and because of the area, there are lights on all night, so it never really gets dark ( but I’m a country person so those things probably wouldn’t bother others). Also, the ghost tour stops every night in the drive across the street, which I thought was cool, but probably not for everyone. The hosts were great to work with and responded in a timely manner to questions. We would, absolutely, stay again!!
