Rivers Edge 803c

Studio apartment in downtown Helen. What we loved: walking distance to everything in Helen so we could park once and enjoy Oktoberfest all weekend. Nice view of the river. Pet friendly. Area to prepare snacks, keep food and beverages cold. What we didn't love: technically doesn't have a full kitchen, only a microwave, sink, and fridge. Decor was outdated and tired looking. Could use an update. Surfaces were clean but loveseat and recliner were old so it felt a little meh, in my opinion. The units are right on the river, which is lovely but it makes walking your dog a little precarious if it's wet. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, the location is great and the price was reasonable.

We absolutely loved it

the view obviously is what ppl come for. The room had no shampoo, soap, coffee or filters even though you advertise a coffee maker. that usually comes with coffee/filters. It's nice to see them making repairs because it NEEDS IT. but, on a weekend? And what is up with the giant mirror above the bed? It doesn't make the room seem bigger, just more perverted. We covered that portal up right away.... The office manager, hung up on me, but we had a discussion about it and worked it out. She seems a bit off putting, and perhaps if she didn't smoke three packs a day, I would have not called her "Sir" on the phone.. I mean, she was doing laundry and I will say, towels were plentiful. Basically, it is what it is. We'll try other places to see if they offer better services, but we'd more than likely, due to the LOCATION stay again...
