About this apartment rental
The Badan is located at Knockinreoch (G63 0AP), which is the first property on the Gartness Road on the east side of the main A811 road, just outside the village of Drymen. The apartment is 50 metres to the rear of the main house and is accessed through the door at ground level. Check in available from 4pm onwards. TV and Wi-Fi. Sleeps 4 + 2.

The Badan was a lovely place to stay. The cottage was modern but cozy. Colin was a lovely host, meeting us upon arrival and showing us around the house, making sure we were comfortable and knew where everything was. We were only there for one night but I will definitely return if we are ever in the area again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Badan. Luxurious finishings, tasteful decor and little touches such as heated towel rack and extra blankets/bedding/towels. Wonderful host! Colin went above and beyond to help us with dinner plans at The Clachan (est. 1734) - great pub in the nearby village (Drymen square with historic pubs and cafes is a short 5-10 minute walk away! Take a footpath that starts across the street from the estate of Knockinreoch, where the Badan is located). The place has everything needed for a really comfortable stay, including washer/dryer, dishwasher, toaster, oven, fridge, dishes, etc. Picturesque views from primary bedroom of sheep grazing in field. Sweet visits from their friendly dog and cat. Great selection of local literature: books, maps and pamphlets to learn about the Trossachs, Loch Lomond and surrounding area. Would definitely come back - this place truly is a gem!

The Baden unit is wonderful, comfy beds, clean, everything we needed in the lovely town of Drymen. We are so happy we added this stop on our trip....
Only suggestion would be to add a note that the street has two access points, one in the town and the other must be accessed across a highway, thank goodness Colin answered his phone to help guide us!
