Do you just want to get away from it all? Forget about stress and everyday life for a while? Then come vacation with us on the North Sea.
Would you like to be woken up by birdsong again? That’s the norm here.
Would you like to enjoy the starry sky without the lights of the big city again? You can do that here, too. You’ll hardly find any streetlights here.
Spanning 50 square meters on the first floor of our beautiful, rural Frisian house, you’ll find a bedroom with a double bed, a bathroom with natural light, a shower, and a toilet, as well as a spacious living-dining area with a fully equipped kitchenette and a cozy couch corner.
If you’d like to tell your friends, family, or colleagues just how wonderfully relaxed you’ve become after just a few days here, you can do so easily—Wi-Fi access is available.
And if all that relaxation ever gets to be too much for you: Ockholm may be a small, quiet village, but it’s conveniently located so you can reach Husum, Niebüll, or Flensburg in no time.
Ferries to the Halligen islands depart from nearby Schlüttsiel, which is just 5 km away. The car ferry to Sylt departs from Niebüll, and ferries to Amrum or Föhr depart from Dagebüll. You can reach Sankt Peter Ording in just over an hour by car, and even Denmark is barely a stone’s throw away.
If the North Sea ever feels too rough, simply take a day trip to the Baltic Sea, for example to Fehmarn. Or visit cities like Travemünde or Lübeck.

Great little apartment with everything we needed for a weekend to get out of the city and relax. Not much in the area so a car is probably helpful. Nice little new kitchen with all needed appliances. Even fresh eggs placed outside of the door from the chickens on the property if desired. Furniture in apartment is old and the couch has seen better days, but as there is a pet therapist on the property and people visit with their pets, this is understandable. Very reasonable price for a few days in nature.
