About this cabin rental
Lakefront home with large porch and large private dock. Very private with1.6 acre wooded lot. Expansive mountain and lake views from the porch and most rooms of the house. Hot tub on the porch with views of the lake. Canoe and two kayaks on the dock. The cabin has central heat but does not have central air. All rooms have AC provided by window or floor units.

Beautiful home in an amazing area. Super cool design, very happy this was our choice. Many very cool destinations close. Wayah Bald is amazing. Owner has more cleaning supplies than you could possibly need. Enough coffee filters for next 2 years if you made one pot a day Town isnt too far away. Fun trip.

Fun archtecture, responsive and friendly host. In the spirit of constructive feedback...there was mold in the shower, the back patio furniture was covered in black mildew, the lights were out on the back porch, the gas fireplace for the back porch was out of gas, dirty dishes in the cabinets, plates chipped and cracked, stairs and porches covered in leaves, ramp to dock super slippery with algae, and had to treat the hot tub 5 times to get the chemistry in range and someones mcdonalds.garbage on the front steps.to greet us. Also in Oct they do lower the lake and the lake is deep so dont plan on catching fish here. I had hoped for better maintainence at 1,386 for 3 nights. BUT.. we had the whole lake to ourselves and the trees were beautiful. We were able.to go to the river and hook some trout. So still a good time! Thanks for having us.

Absolutely wonderful time. My kids loved the kayaks and canoe (extra life jackets) The kitchen and living space were great, master bedroom view was just beautiful. Dog friendly! We would love to return.LOTS of stairs down to the lake, but the ropes really help!Communication with host was GREAT!My only suggestion would be a written sheet in house for checkout instructions and wifi access! (I forgot to screenshot all instructions before arrival and had to leave and find cell service at local restaurant to get service and access my phone) So much family funReally appreciate the space!

This place was very nice. Beautiful views. Close to boat launch. Private. But there were a few things we didn’t like. The driveway, the stairs and path to the dock was completely covered in leaves. We could not drive up the hill without spinning out. And when we walked the stairs and path to the dock, we fell several times. I e actually hurt my tail bone pretty bad. These were unsafe conditions. We spent a few hours of our mini vacation having to blow the leaves off.
Then when I tried to plug my dialysis machine behind the dresser, I found a dirty women’s underwear left there. Also, the fridge had old food and milk we had to dispose of. I question the actual cleanliness of this place. Perhaps it’s not getting a thorough cleaning after each guest.
This home was very nice but some things I found odd that I’m not used to with rental properties. There was items like someone’s toothbrush, mostly used toothpaste tube, Used bar of soap etc… this is not very sanitary.
Overall we think the property could be better managed. Luckily, It’s set in a beautiful, peaceful place and we enjoyed ourselves for the most part.
