Charming renovated apartment on the coastline with pool. Top location!

Centrally located: Malaga, 30 minutes away (best parking is under the city-center 'cube' and simply explore the amazing city in a circular path; Gibraltar 1.5 hrs; Ronda 1.5hrs; day trips to Cordoba and Granada about 2hrs.Loved the view from the apartment. On a clear day Morocco and Gibraltar can be seen from the balcony. If you can, bring binoculars. Parking was okay, but don't expect to park at the five adjacent apartment spaces. I took up one space and received a note rom Margaret not to park there again due to her husband's disability. I didn't, but there was no disability posting. It's a 1-minute walk from Pirate Beach.The boardwalk is perfect. I was not pleased with the food or service at the short walk to Pirate Beach or Luna Beach, but Portifino Restaurant (at the marina) was excellent: Salmon w/Orange Sauce the best I ever had. Service excellent.The local grocery store is a short 10-minute walk or amazingly quick drive. Simply drive/walk under the freeway and take the road ajacent to the freeway entrance. For other needs, La Canada Mall is only 20 minutes in Marabella. There is a very large grocery store in the mall (ajacent to the flags outside) where you can get grocerys, wine, spirits, clothing, luggage and shoes.I would recommed the facility provide more trash bags for under the sink, a few more rolls of toilet paper and install a handrail in the shower/tub bathroom. Also, the floor mats are slippery. Recommend replacing with non-slip for saftey.

Fantastic apartment in a fantastic location! Everything was exactly as described in the details. The month we spent at this rental went by too fast. Will definitely return in the near future. Thank you Hans for sharing your beautiful apartment with us. Also wanted to let you know that your houseekeeper was wonderful and very helpful, both when we arrived as well as when we left.

We spent two wonderful months in the apartment. The view is absolutely amazing. Priceless. The handover was smooth and the place was very clean. It had all the necessary equipment, crockery. We didn't miss anything. The location is well maintained with all amenities nearby. I would suggest that the main bathroom would be better with a walk in shower.There are nice deck chairs which are good for balcony but personally I found it uncomfortable to use it by the pool area. I recommend folding sunbeds.We 100% recommend this place and definitely will be coming back in future.

The apartment is as stated and is a great place to stay. The whole process from booking to checking out was very easy with good communication from Hans and Belinda, who met us on site. The site is very close to the main road, which gave it very easy access and plenty of parking but you cant hear the road noise so that didn't affect the stay at all. The views overlooking the pool (which was very nice to swim in) and beach ( which is quite rocky) were gorgeous. There is a restaurant next door but very little noise from that so it wasn't an issue. The only down side was the noise from upstairs early in the morning 6.30/7amwith banging doors etc but during the night, it was very peaceful. The only thing that would put us off staying here again is the main road, which you have to use to drive anywhere and it is quite mental traffic-wise. Calahonda is a nice place but, for us, nt nice enough to return.
