Once you enter from the main door you will find a fully equipped living room with a pull-out sofa bed for one person, an eating area, and a well-equipped kitchenette. Off the main room is a washer and dryer available for guests to use. The bathroom has a shower and tub.
The main bedroom has a queen bed, a large closet and a smart TV.

The Neighborhood:
We hope you enjoy the neighborhood of Bloomingdale - it is a small community within a bigger city. For a neighborhood of only about 12 square blocks, Bloomingdale manages to pack in a lot of hidden treasures: from unassuming dive bars, surprise parks and award-winning restaurants. We are near lots of major attractions, but far enough away to keep things on the tranquil side.
Getting Around:
Walk: Shaw neighborhood and Howard University are under a mile; Union Market is a mile away
Metro: In less than a mile you can walk to the Shaw/Howard Metro or NoMA/Gallaudet University Metro
Buses: Major buses along Rhode Island Ave, New Jersey Avenue and North Capitol
Bike Shares: 1st and Seaton (in front of Red Hen)
Other Things to Note:
We hope that you enjoy the neighborhood - from the farmer's market on Sunday to lots of neighborhood restaurants at all price points. We are updating the restaurant ideas based on your feedback, but we provide a list of our favorite spots. As you walk along the tree-lined streets (they don't call it Bloomingdale for nothing), stop for a moment to read the local historic signs that tell the story of this vibrant and historic community.
