About this cottage rental

The Cosh is a stunning example of modern architecture in the countryside; a converted Dutch barn is now a Cotswold holiday home which sleeps 12 guests, in six spacious bedrooms, with five bathrooms. The remarkable open plan living space on the ground floor is flooded with natural light and contemporary interiors; this continues into the exquisite family room on the first floor, which has a balcony with views over the countryside. Set amongst a working farm, the garden backs onto a brook, with a beautiful shepherd's hut and lawn for guests and their four-legged friends to enjoy.

Great week had with family of all ages celebrating a 40th wedding anniversary. The Cosh is just amazing, a comfortable, spacious, home from home. Our grandchildren, aged 5 and 4 loved the open space inside and out. Would love to return one day.

This was a great venue for our annual girls weekend getaway. We all loved the open plan, contemporary feel of the Cosh. It was equipped with everything we required making it both a practical choice as well as having a touch of luxury. During our stay we visited The Western Arms pub in the village for lunch which we would also recommend. Overall a great venue.

We had a wonderful long weekend at the Cosh. As a group of university friends - now all in our 60s - it had everything you could possibly need - lots of space and different places to sit and catch up with friends. Dog friendly, and great location for exploring the Cotswolds. Would definitely recommend - we voted it the best place we have stayed in so far on our annual meet-up.

We were a group of nine persons enjoying our annual get together. The Cosh met our expectations in all regards particularly the downstairs bedrooms for those less able. Beds were very comfortable. Showers excellent. Some of us arrived slightly early and Debbie, the owner was on the premises and let us in to a very welcome cup of tea and locally baked cake. The Cosh is well situated to visit the many attractions in the Cotswolds, all within easy driving distance. We would recommend the Cosh for any larger groups visiting the area without hesitation. Online description, and photographs are accurate. We booked the property through Stay Cotswold and all information was provided in a clear and precise manner. Thanks to everyone concerned, we had a great time.

We booked the Cosh to celebrate my Dad’s 90th birthday. There were 12 of us so the accommodation was perfect having 6 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. The Cosh itself is amazing situated on a working farm but within close proximity to lots of the well known Cotswolds villages. It’s very spacious with lots of seating area’s dotted all around, so you could spread out or gather all together. There is a pool table and ping pong table to entertain those who can't sit still. The outside space is also a lovely area to enjoy the sunshine and chill. We were lucky to have beautiful weather when we stayed there. I can't recommend this place enough if you are a large group who just want to get together and make some wonderful memories as we did as a family. The walk into Blockley where there are 2 pubs and an Artisan cafe was too far for my parents to walk but it is doable. We found it easier to drive. I would definitely stay there again.

The Cosh is spacious and gorgeously decorated. Just perfect for a getaway with friends. There’s a pool table, ping pong table, a small brook the kids splashed in. We spent the late nights staring up at the Persiad meteor shower looking for shooting stars. The village has a great corner shop should you need anything, and a small play park for kids. The food at the Great Western Arms was delicious. The only negatives were there were only one set of utensils (in contrast to the copious number of plates, cups, glasses of every type and cutlery!) and the kitchen knives were blunt. Very small things that could be easily resolved. We loved the place and will be back!
