High above the beautiful Mondsee lake in the middle of Salzkammergut you find Chalet Kultique.
We welcome you to spend time relaxing in the beautiful surroundings of Mondseeberg. Our chalet has a large terrace overlooking the lake and the mountains while the pool in the garden offers a great spot to cool down and relax.
At just 25 minutes drive from Salzburg this is the ultimate spot to stay, any time of the year, to visit the beautiful area.
Among the on-site amenities you will find:
A solar heated (summer) pool
An infrared sauna with a view
A tabletennis table
A huge garden
A Finnish sauna for winter use.
We offer room for a maximum of 9 people.
We have 2 bedrooms and a full bathroom downstairs, perfect for 2 couples or a family with 2 kids. The beds are doubles with individual mattresses but can't be split.
The upstairs bedrooms are great for kids but note that the windows don´t open so in extreme temperatures it could get warm. We have coolers and ventilators in these rooms.
The bathroom has a small shower.
Our home offers accommodation for up to 9 people but note that it is most comfortable with 4. Please ask during booking for details if you're not sure.

Nice location with amazing view. House is big and comfortable, we've spent lovely time with family and friends. Few minutes to drive to the shops or skiing slopes. Communication with the owner was excellent, all details needed received in time with precision.

We really enjoyed our stay at this location and appreciated both the view and the hospitality of the owners, who were very welcoming and helped us with various queries regarding the house.
There is a lot to do in the area, we undertook several trips to surrounding lakes close to Mondsee, went up the Schafsberg mountain and also to the Laudachsee, up the Grünbergseilbahn in Gmunden. We also really enjoyed the bathing in the Mondsee and a day trip to Salzburg.
Everyone has different expectations about houses, I would say this one needs some renovation. Particularly the upstairs is in my view not really suitable for adults. But this was offset by the amazing view from the terrace and the lovely weather, as well as the charming hosts.

The pictures don’t do it justice, we were shocked how beautiful the location is. Would stay here again. We hiked up the mountain a few times because we loved it so much! Perfect for staying close to many lakes and mountains!

Tremendous sweeping view of the alps and lake. Access to kulmspitz tower trail which is great for families. Great kitchen. Responsive host. Just beautiful would highly recommend. 10 min drive to town.
