About this house rental
This house is perfect for a large family vacation. It is 10 minutes to Woodland Park and 15 minutes to Colorado Springs. We are 200 yards from the famous Catamount trailhead, 400 yards from a beautiful waterfall and access to miles of local trails. Featuring a wrap-around deck with mountain views, a Roku and smart TV, game room with foosball table, three large bedrooms and a designated workstation.
Within walking distance of downtown Green Mountain Falls which includes restaurants, a bar, a distillery, coffee shop, trout fishing and more. Dogs under 50 pounds welcome. Please message for more details.

- October to May we can have winter weather. We recommend 4-wheel or all wheel drive year round. The weather in Green Mountain Falls can be very different from Colorado Springs and even Woodland Park.
- There is no access to Green Mountain Falls via Uber or Lyft.
- The house has two off-street parking spaces. Per Green Mountain Falls regulations, there is no street parking on this road (for emergency vehicle access).
- We are located in a forested area. Fire is a very big threat. Please be very cautious with grill and do not throw out cigarette butts.
- There is no A/C. However, we are located at 8,000 ft so it stays relatively cool.

The host was great! She responded quickly and was very respectful and kind. The view from the deck of the house was amazing. I had breakfast at the patio table as the sun rose and that alone made the trip great. The game room was fun and the couches downstairs were comfy. The place is in great shape. I did the Catamount trail the following morning, it was really easy to get to from the property. I recommend staying here in you need a weekend mountain getaway.

The house is in a beautiful location and directions were easy to follow to find the property. We knew from the description that there would be a lot of stairs to get to the property, but just know that the stairs are not for the elderly or anyone out of shape. The decor is on the "vintage" side. There were plenty of beds, but the kitchen was pretty small. The upstairs shower was super small and my husband did not have much room in it. The main level shower was average size. We loved the deck as it provided some gorgeous views, but just know that there are several neighbor houses nearby that are also in your view. You could sometimes hear the waterfall, but you could also hear the traffic on the main road. If you're looking for the mountain views, you can't beat this place. But if you want more modern amenities and decor, you might want to look at other places in the area.
