Our family Loved staying at this lodge. It was within close proximity to all of our activities and the area was very peaceful and beautiful! The home was very clean and had everything we needed. Everyone was very friendly in town and again, very peaceful area. We definitely recommend this home!

The views were immaculate and the location was awesome - a short drive to most local attractions and the little town is just a 10 minute walk. The multiple bathrooms and bedrooms were nice and the Roku & WiFi were great perks that worked well.However, there were some things that made our stay uncomfortable. My wife and I were on our honeymoon and were hoping for a little bit more. In no particular order of inconvenience; the master bedroom mattress had a MASSIVE divot in the middle, making it an uncomfortable sleep. The pillows were limp. The ceiling fan wobbled a lot and the blades were caked in dust. Both showers were a bit dirty and the grill out back was disgusting - the temperature gauge was also broken.All of the windows were unlocked upon arrival, and one of the bathroom windows was OPEN when we first got there. The fan always needing to be on was quite annoying as it was very loud. The property also lists air conditioning, but it’s not CENTRAL AIR, rather box fans and a stand up AC unit.The water dispenser in the fridge flowed incredibly slowly as well. The remote to the living room ceiling fan didn’t work either. The kitchen was stocked well with utensils and cookware, and the host leaving a basket of granola bars was a nice touch. Overall, we would not stay here again but see the appeal.

The house was nice, the master bedroom mattress has a concave in it and not comfortable. The other two rooms, the beds are squeaky. Ice maker and water dispenser on the fridge are slow. It says to replace filter so that might be why? First day some guy came walking up the back stairs by the hot tub right when I was near the window so that was freaky. The next day, I woke up to a guy mowing and/or weed eating right outside the master bedroom. Kinda creepy. The last day the hot tub temperature keep going down, it never went above 101 degrees but went down to 98 degrees.

Enjoyed our stay in Green Mountain Falls. Beautiful quiet home that feels like you are in a remote cabin while being close to everything you need. Close to Pikes Peak, Manitou Springs and Other attractions. Perfect house for three adults with a wonderful view from the hot tub.

We loved our stay. The home had plenty of space, an awesome view, and comfortable beds and living room furniture. The kitchen had everything we needed and the kitchen island came in handy for assembling a puzzle! There was a short power outage due to wind—nothing the owners could do about it—but they were in touch and responsive. We really enjoyed the eight deer who visited the yard! We highly recommend this home

We had a wonderful family getaway here and enjoyed the location, scenery, nearby town and dining, and especially the hot tub with a great view. The cabin was better stocked than most rentals we’ve stayed at, especially the kitchen. The only drawback was something other reviews have mentioned for 2-3 years: it’s time to upgrade the beds. The mattresses are not super comfy and are very creaky. Could use a new toilet seat, too, and a few additional towels if the full guest capacity is making use of the hot tub and showers. Overall fantastic, and we would definitely stay again for a 2-3 night trip (but probably not a longer trip due to the beds).

Wow - the name says it all. So much time was spent and enjoyed on the front porch taking in the lovely view and enjoying the birds at the feeders as well as daily deer visitors. You can also hear the nearby creek rushing by. The house is equipped with all you need for cooking or hanging out. The hot tub also has an incredible view and was nice during a chilly morning or after a long hike. Primary bed is super comfy. Walk to town!! Walk to hiking trailhead. Enjoyed the pup welcome basket with bowls, treats, toys, etc. There is a nice green space for the pups to quickly take care of business. The host was extremely responsive to a few special requests. Very easy to find and enter. Really enjoyed this home! Thank you!

We had an amazing week at this cabin. We really enjoyed sitting in the hot tub admiring the views. We seen deer quite a bit in front of the cabin and in the back yard. Everything was provided that was needed for us as we frequently grilled and made meals at the cabin. Our only complaint would be that the beds on the one side of the house are pretty noisy and when someone would roll over the whole house would hear it and the kitchen knives were quite dull when we were trying to cut potatoes but nothing so major that it would hinder us from staying again. Good location as well for the Pikes Peak region of Colorado!

Cabin is in a great location, close to Colorado Springs but far enough away that you can enjoy the peace of the mountains. There are several trailheads within walking distance, and the hot tub was perfect after our days of white water rafting or hiking.

Beautiful property! Perfect size for the 6 of us and our dog. It snowed during our time there and was just stunning all around. Got to see 6 beautiful deer, enjoyed the cog rail going up Pikes peak and just a couple hours down the road we did snow tubing at Echo Mountain. The kids enjoyed their time there and were not ready to leave at all ! Would totally stay here again. —Kristy—

This property would have been a great place to stay, if it were clean! The absolute positives about the property: it’s in a quiet neighborhood area and has great views with several large picture windows. It’s spaces are cozy and suited for small groups. But that’s where the enjoyment for this property stops. My wife and I got there Saturday night and noticed a majority of the windows were left unlocked. Every bath towel smelled of mildew and there were damp towels left in the dryer from a previous visit. Dead remotes with no replacement 9 volts available. After 5 mins of walking around our socks had rocks, hair, dirt, and grass stuck to them. I did a quick sweep thinking all would be fine, but the next day as it was light out, I noticed the entire kitchen covered in a film of cooking grease that had been carelessly smeared around. I decided to wipe the counter tops and the paper towels turned grey because of the dust and dirt. At that point I realized this place was filthy. I ran down to Walmart and bought our own cleaning supplies, towels and batteries, and for 4 hours on Sunday on my VACATION, I cleaned the entire house! I know that sounds nuts, but I wasn’t going to spend 5 more nights in that mess! I wish I could post pictures of the cleanup process. Gross amounts of hair, dirt, and grime swept off the floor, towels that turned grey after wiping granite countertops, and mop water that went from clear to almost black when finished! After cleaning and purchasing our own necessities, it was a nice stay, seriously. I didn’t originally notify the host of the condition because I didn’t want to have someone coming to clean while we were staying. But we had two surprise visits without notice anyway. Someone came to address the hot tub once and one day there was another vehicle parked in the driveway and two guys on the porch. They were doing maintenance work and were very polite, but the host could have at least notified us of these visits. We have stayed at another rental from this host and experienced similar issues with smelly towels or amenities that don’t function. I’m writing this review over a week from staying, because after checking out I notified the host of the condition of the house and left all my contact info so she could get pictures and understand my situation. A week has gone by and I’ve heard nothing, so I’m posting this review today so future guests will hopefully know what to expect. I am very likely done renting from this host.

Our stay at this cottage in Green Mountain Falls was all we could ask for and more. There were 6 of us for 5 days. We had plenty of room, comfortable furnishings and a gorgeous view. The outdoor accommodations, seating, tables, and grill were perfect to enjoy the beautiful outdoors and enjoy the deer we saw frequently. Would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful home to stay in. I do have to agree with several others the beds are terribly uncomfortable. I was there for my granddaughter’s wedding. The three of us that stayed in this home had an amazing time. We enjoyed the hot tub playing games and just enjoying the beautiful mountain scenery. I highly recommend staying there. I look forward to staying again. Green Mountain Falls is a amazing little community. We were fortunate enough to hear some live music at the blue Moose Tavern and then a brass band on one of the gazebos. Spectacular time!

We enjoy staying here! There was plenty of space for the kids to explore, a fantastic hot tub with a view, deer sightings, and it was very clean. The only downside I could mention is the beds are very squeaky. Anytime someone rolled over you could hear it in the other room. Otherwise, it was great!

The house fit our size party very well and the hot tub was soothing. The house was clean and well decorated and was close to trails and not far from town. The neighborhood was basically a subdivision in the hills and some of the neighbors were a little questionable. On the downside, the beds were probably the worst that I have ever slept on. If these were updated, it would be 4 stars. Little things that could be improved would be to have more towels, toilet paper(2 rolls in whole house) and tissues(none in house).
