About this villa rental
Stunning views from sea to sky are a daily gift in the spectacular Villa Ambolo. Located on an exclusive street in Balcon al Mar, the villa has a modern Mediterranean style, equipped with high-end amenities, a dazzling pool, outdoor kitchen and even a cinema room.
The property is divided into three independent apartments, all fully air-conditioned, and can accommodate up to eight fortunate guests. The first apartment is like something straight out of a James Bond film, with its high ceilings, completely white living room and a kitchen-dining room that opens onto the exterior terrace, with a dining table and instant views of the Mediterranean. On the ground floor, you will find two bedrooms with private en-suite bathrooms. The main bedroom, with its own shower and raised bathtub with impressive sea views, and a bedroom with two beds with a large shower.
He goes outside and goes down the external stairs to the cinema room, equipped with a comfortable corner sofa, a large projection screen and enough channels and DVDs to keep film enthusiasts entertained for days.
Outside and down some steps are the entrances to the other apartments, each with its own private bedroom, bathroom, and living area. The middle apartment has a practical small kitchen, while the third benefits from floor-to-ceiling windows that showcase those impressive sea views. All three apartments have Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and televisions with Spanish and/or international channels, while air conditioning is available only in the main apartment.
Saving the best for last! At the end of the exterior staircase, you'll find a single-level entertainment space with to-die-for sea views! On one side is the pool, with an underwater bench and hydrojets, a poolside shower, sun loungers and hammocks that offer places to relax and doze by the water. On the other side of the stairs is the covered outdoor kitchen, with integrated barbecue, electric hob and all the necessary outdoor utensils for cooking 'al fresco'. The large teak dining table can be covered or uncovered with the practical top awning. Savour a cool glass of white wine in the shade during the heat of the day or pull back the awning to contemplate the night sky... what a marvel!
Update April 2025: The outdoor terrace, swimming pool, and wooden deck that make up the magnificent outdoor living space have just been completely renovated in time for the summer of 2025!

2) Winter Long Stays (1 Nov 31 Mar): Stays of 31+ nights receive a special discount but utilities (electricity, water, gas) and weekly linen changes are not included. A €500 utilities prepayment is required; extra usage will be charged and unused amounts refunded.
3) Stays over 10 days: Spanish law requires signing a Non-Habitual Temporary Housing Rental Contract

Fantastic villa and would definitely be staying again. The villa was very well equipped and very clean on arrival. The downstairs kitchen area is a great addition with the steps and the three separate apartments worked well for space for everyone. The views are incredible and the area is very nice. Whilst all apartments have air conditioning, the sea breeze helps to keep it cool. Highly recommend booking. Javea Holidays are very helpful and very responsive.

We spent a week here and were able to completely decompress... the location was great with beaches, excellent restaurants and shopping all within a short drive. The owner was responsive as we had trouble finding the property after our long trek to Spain. And the villa itself... was amazing... several levels of amazing! You will walk a lot of steps but you will also work off all the exquisite Spanish wine and paella. The separation of the bedroom suites was appreciated, allowing for much privacy. We loved the pool and outdoor kitchen area, and enjoyed sunrises and sunsets from various balconies. The property was clean, neat, comfortable, and had everything we needed. This was a wonderful retreat for our family of fice adults. I hope we will return.

This house had everything you could want for your stay and more. The outdoor kitchen was a particular hightlight, wiht a BBQ, hob, sink and fridge all making eating al fresco so easy. There were many places to relax indoors and out, in the sunin the shade - plenty of room for all six of us. Would definitely stay here again. Any questions were always quickly answered.

Villa Ambolo certainly has wonderful views out to sea and a lovely spacious outside kitchen/seating/pool area but the accommodation was underwhelming. While the main top apartment was well appointed, modern and comfortable, the lower apartments were less inviting and the bottom one (with the 2nd king size bed) actually quite poor. The furniture was tired and in need of updating: the sofa had awful fabric with bits coming off it, the chest of drawers was extremely musty and made our clothes smell, the window in the seating area was so stiff to slide it was nearly unusable, there were no handles on the wardrobe doors, the sink unit was peeling, the toilet seat loose. It had a lovely view from the seating area and floor to ceiling glazing which looked like it should slide open but didn't. It had steps leading down from the glazing to the pool so it was clearly meant to open which was baffling.As a party of 4 , we didn't make use of the other 2 bedrooms as they were smaller and didn't enjoy as nice views but they were well presented and looked fine.As nice as the position was, the imbalance in the accommodation was disappointing and for this reason I don't think the villa represented good value for money.
