Single-level, pet-friendly home on Wilmington Island, about 10 minutes from both Downtown Savannah and Tybee Island's beaches.
Sleeps 8. Four bedrooms (one king, two queens, one with two single beds), three bathrooms, a private salt water pool, a game area with arcade games, and parking for up to four cars.
What to know first: the backyard is fully fenced but the pool itself is unfenced, so children and pets should not be left unsupervised near it. Dogs are welcome with a nightly pet fee. Self check-in with a smart lock.
The Space:
A single-level, Studio McGee-styled home with a private salt water pool.
Living areas: An open living room with a Smart TV, board games and comfortable seating, plus a second cozy sitting area. A dining room seats six, with additional dining space nearby.
Bedrooms: Four bedrooms with a king bed, two queen beds and a room with two single beds (sleeps 8 total). Several bedrooms have their own TV and ample closet space.
Bathrooms: Three bathrooms, including a master bath with a soaking tub, a separate shower and a vanity area.
Kitchen: A fully equipped kitchen with a full-size refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher and the cookware, dishes and utensils needed to cook a meal.
Game room: Arcade-style games, including an air hockey table, for family entertainment.
Outdoors: A private, non-heated salt water pool and a fully fenced backyard. Parking for up to four cars.
Laundry: A washer and dryer on site.
Guest Access:
Guests have the front driveway, the home, the backyard and the pool, and the back gate (trash cans are behind the fence). The storage shed and the garage are not included in the stay.
This is a quiet residential neighborhood. Please keep noise to a minimum and treat the home and the neighbors with respect. Parties and undisclosed events are not allowed without prior coordination with the host.
The Neighborhood:
The home sits on Wilmington Island, a quiet residential area about 10 minutes from both Downtown Savannah and Tybee Island. Convenience stores, gas stations, restaurants, a Walmart and a Kroger are all within about 3 minutes.
The neighborhood is near the highway that leads directly to both Tybee and Downtown, so getting around is easy, with no road noise at the house itself.
Getting Around:
You will want a vehicle or rideshare to get around, as the roads here do not have sidewalks. Uber and Lyft are readily available for trips to Downtown Savannah or Tybee Island, each about 10 minutes away.
A Kroger grocery store is about a mile from the house. Urgent Care 24/7 in Whitemarsh is about a 6 minute drive, the Chatham County Police Precinct is about 2.5 miles away, and the nearest fire station is about 2.5 miles away.
Other Things to Note:
Pool safety: the backyard is fully fenced, but the pool itself has no gate or lock. Please supervise children and pets near the pool at all times, and do not swim after drinking alcohol.
House rules in short: 8 guests maximum, primary guest 21 or older. Quiet hours 8 PM to 8 AM. No parties or undisclosed events without prior host coordination. Dogs welcome with a pet fee, up to 30 pounds, hypoallergenic breeds only. No cats, reptiles, birds, fish or snakes. Before arrival, guests complete a short check-in form and identity verification in the Guest App.
Interaction with Guests:
We live close by and are available to guests day and night through the app or by phone.

It was a little cool for the pool but my grandsons swam anyway. House was great. Worked perfectly for our needs. I gave 4 stars for communication because it seems the replies to messages were delayed and not very timely. However the one that got missed was made right with a refund of my early check in money. Overall it was a great experience. I would certainly rent again if I was in the Savannah area.
