The property was found as described on line. Very pleased with the location and decor. The cleanliness left a lot to be desired. The bathrooms had a dirty buildup around the floor edges and mold in the tubs. The toilets need a deep cleaning especially under the rims.
Our biggest disappointment was the infestation of ants throughout. Brought this to the attention of the realtors inspector. There were ant traps everywhere that had no effect. The realtor sent an exterminator on Monday. The exterminator gave the place a good spraying which reduced the amount of ants but we still had them the rest of the week. The exterminator explained that this happens to 1st floor units especially after a heavy rain. I spoke to the owner of the condo next door, he said, he has never seen an ant in his place. I think the place just needs a good deep cleaning.
We loved the convenience of the first floor and would rent that unit again if it is cleaned up.
Over the past 15 to 20 years We have stayed in many different condos on the Island at HiddenHarbor. This is the first time we experienced an insect problem.
