This is a beautifully maintained low carbon footprint cabin. The wraparound deck is amazing. We had 11 people in our family group, with 10 sleeping over. We are cooks and enjoy family meals and found the kitchen and grill were excellent. You need to come fully prepared with your food as there are no grocery stores nearby. There are plenty of spices and dishes in the cabinets. The kitchen table was just a little tight for our group for Sunday morning breakfast and evening dinners. We took advantage of fishing at the North Shore boat launch about 13 miles away. Bringing our own gear we played Pickleball, softball, and basketball on the property in the large front yard during daylight hours and in the evenings, played poker and dominoes. For wildlife we saw a doe with two fawns, eagles, hawks, western tanagers, hummingbirds, stellar jays, and ducks and ducklings.Communication with our host was excellent. I would recommend this site for a self-sufficientfamily looking to get away for a quiet weekend.

This is a perfect property for a larger group. The common areas and the creek were highlights! Everything was clean and well maintained.

This was such an amazing place to spend with our family. We enjoyed the creek, and very comfortably roomy enough to just rest and recoup from a busy season.
