The house has been renovated nicely and has most things that you need, except wifi! There is a reasonable telephone signal but we quickly used up our data roaming allowance as we were there to search for a property. There is a restaurant in the next village and a supermarket in Felletin which also hosts a country market on Friday mornings. It is lovely being in the middle of the Millevaches Plateau but that does mean it takes a long time to get anywhere. The host was very kind and helpful and brought us a kettle! If you just wish to chill out in nature it's great.

Once we actually managed to find it, overall the property and its location were as expected. Unfortunately, the cleaning of kitchen and bbq were not up to standard, plus three light bulbs were broken, no kettle or oven glove or washing up liquid or handwash were provided. We recitifed some of the issues and in all fairness the owner reimbursed our cleaning fee which we had not requested. Also, the information provided was very out of date, e.g one recommended restaurant had closed some years ago, the local and other recommended restaurants were not open during our one week's stay. Nonetheless, overall an enjoyable stay. Please note that with a bit of attention to detail a stay here could warrant a top score.
