Quaint Guest House with walkable locale!

Charming little efficiency in a great location. It's conveniently close to the main entrance of Watkins Glen State Park and only about a 15–20 minute walk to the waterfront. Plenty of places to grab food and coffee. The host was friendly, responsive, and very communicative throughout the stay. A perfect spot for a weekend getaway.

The only issue we really had was due to technology. I had never received the email with the entry instructions (it was sent I just never got it for some reason), so when we arrived to the house at 8pm we could not get in. The hosts were out of town in a different time zone so it took some time to get ahold of them which was scary in the moment but no one’s fault and the host were very kind with helping us get in. The house was in a great location for everything we wanted to do. It was clean and provided everything we needed. We had no issues with parking right next to the home. It is connected to a main house that also gets rented out and sometimes those kind of set ups can be awkward because you don’t want the other renters to feel like you are in their space and vice versa but the way these are set up it honestly doesn’t feel like a guest house. we never even saw the other renters except one time when they were entering the gate to the back yard which is next to the guest house entrance. I definitely recommend staying here if you are a couple or a duo looking to explore the finger lakes!

Perfect little spot for a young couple to stay and explore the area. We were able to drive 30-40 minutes from our place and find ALL kinds of wineries, antique stores, breweries, and even visited Cornell University of Ornithology and the Corning Museum of Glass. There are also plenty of hiking spots within 30-40 minutes, as well as restaurants and bars. Great location! Communication with Diane and Erik was superb. They were helpful and extremely reaponsive and gracious.
