Walking distance to town and the falls.
Parking lot was recently redone but asphalt got soft in the heat and was messy.

Good value for what we paid for. We just needed an overnight stay to explore Watkins Glen before moving on to Niagara. Location was great as the entrance to the state park is just across the road. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Freshly made coffee in the morning and ice dispenser was a plus. Aircon was already turned on upon arrival.
A bit dated but place was still clean. You get what you pay for
