Welcome to Majestic Oak Cottage, a cozy 1 BR/1 BA retreat in the heart of St. Simons Island. Just a 3-minute walk to the beach and a 9-minute walk to The Pier Village! Enjoy the convenience of being near the pickleball courts, the park, the beach, and many great local shops and restaurants.
The space:
This charming cottage offers a peaceful stay beneath a stunning live oak tree in the heart of the Village. Inside you'll find a king bedroom with en-suite bath and walk-in shower, a spacious living area with queen sofa bed, dining area, and a fully equipped kitchen. Roku TV is available—just log in to your own streaming apps. The large outdoor sitting area is perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach. Pet friendly, but no fenced yard. A dog park is just a short walk away! A family or group of 4 can comfortably enjoy this home.
A $200 pet fee will be charged if you are bringing your dog.

Cute place in a great location near the lighthouse, beach, restaurants and shops. Very walkable. Quick response by realty company when the dryer blew a fuse, Did not appreciate the credit card fee charged by the realty company. I was using VRBO and they never charge that fee but it was added onto the VRBO quoted price. I arrived on a Sunday so the key was in the lockbox at the realty company but the lock was off and lying open on top of the lockbox. The property's main door opens with a code so not sure why that was even necessary. The back-up key could be left at the property. Water in shower was nice & hot-thank you! Overall a very nice stay.

Fantastic location: close to both beach and Pier Village. Why Jumanji? Well this place has vegetation growing out of the base boards, lol! No, really! Also a bunch a critters were encountered inside the dwelling: Moths, geckos, millipedes, pincher bugs. Eh, whatever. The decor was very nicely beach themed and updated. Generally clean (vice the laundry room and inside of the kitchen cabinets and drawers). Kitchen is pretty beat. Needs an update, but the appliances all work fine. Plenty of linens and kitchen wares.

This sweet house has everything you need and is in a fabulous location. We walked to the beach and restaurants daily. Even a beautiful park nearby.
