About this cottage rental
Unique small cottage in the sought-after Beachwood community situated 2 miles from Tanglewood on Stockbridge Bowl. Features open ceilings, skylights, 2 full bathrooms and large living room. Close to Kripalu, Lenox, Stockbridge, restaurants, hiking and everything else in the Berkshires. It’s only a short five minute walk to the private beach with access to swimming and an area to launch your own kayak, canoe or paddle board.

Great location there is Stockbridgr bowl. We came to cycle and were close to lots of great rides. Location is really close to Lennox, Stockbridge, and great Barrington, Pittsfield, and other places are all less than a half hour.The the house was in a lovely location in a lovely woodsy area without a lot of traffic. The house itself is roomy and was clean. I appreciated having two bathrooms, the one bathroom is in need of updating. The window air conditioners are also noisy, though the living room unit worked really well and was not as noisy. It would’ve been nice to have some amenities, such as tea, coffee, and shower soap or gel. For the price, a dishwasher would’ve been nice too. With all that said, we enjoy our stay very much. Also appreciated the owner’s response when we had a couple of questions.

We were lucky enough to find the Cottage right before July 4. Our son and his wife's whole extended family were spending the weekend in the same Beachwood neighborhood. The immediate area is fabulous for a low-key, family-oriented weekend. The cottage has been updated with room airconditioners and heat, a cooktop, fridge, etc. That said, it's a cottage and not a hotel. Although we did do a bit of cooking there, it would be hard to cook a full meal with any frequency. Still, we really had everything we needed: a comfortable bed, a table, two bathrooms, and a nice living room. We'd stay here again.

We had a great week at this cottage and Daryl was a responsive and helpful host. Our kids are already asking to return next year.

All was great! It was clean. Great location, new bbq grill, wonderful appliances, and only a 5 minute walk to the beach which was great for swimming! It was a short ride to Tanglewood. We hope to go back for more relaxing and fun.
