Nestled in the Carolina Vistas, between the Smokies and Blue Ridge Mountains, our cabin is the defined blend of rustic and luxury; reclaimed barn wood through-out, a well-appointed kitchen, leather seating, and technology: Smart TV’s and central music. Experience the warm and cozy outdoor deck where you can relax with a cup of coffee on the papasan chairs and energize before you start your day of adventure, shopping, or sightseeing. Enjoy your evening in our state-of-the-art jazuzzi hot tub!
Secluded, yet not far off the beaten path, Hickory Hideout has three levels and offers you two on suites where we made every effort to make this cabin more than just home away from home. Each bedroom is furnished with a 43” Smart TV and plush queen beds for you relaxed and at ease after a day of fun. The main level includes the kitchen, half bath, laundry with front load washer and dryer, and a main living area. The living room is stately and inviting with its marvelous cathedral ceilings and double sliding glass doors for picturesque views of the secluded mountainside and is situated with fine leather furniture, fur rug, fireplace and 50” Smart TV. The lower level encompasses a space that can be used as a private master suite or shared living space including a bedroom, full jack and jill bath with tile surround shower and living room with a full size Lazy-boy sofa sleeper. The open air covered deck is off the main level with areas for lounging and dining. There is also a partially screened in patio in the lower level that leads to the outdoor fire pit where you can enjoy the serenity of a warm, crackling fire under the illumination of the ambient lighting.

We had minor problem, Mark and Lisa were quick to fix it and to help us out. It was very cozy and relaxing. It was a prefect drive to the tail of the dragon. Can’t wait to stay again! :)

Great cabin. Host was super helpful with directions and videos on how to get to the property. Wife and I already talking of when we can come stay again. Also, road up to cabin is single lane. It was easily navigatable both in the car and on the motorcycle.
