About this cottage rental

Relax with the whole family or friends at this peaceful pet friendly place. Luxury oceanfront cottage that's great for world class fishing, hiking the famous Westcoast Trail/ Juan de Fuca Trail, beach combing at Botanical Beach or mountain biking some of the many dirt roads or simply cozying up with a book beside an indoor or outdoor fire.
The space
Our cottage is a one level 813 sq ft inside unit in a strata fourplex built in 2018. It has two steps up to the front entrance. Two 8 foot sliding doors lead to the outside deck overlooking Port San Juan, Pacific Gateway marina, and Pacific Rim National Park, featuring the Westcoast Trail. The large deck has a propane bbq and propane fire ring. The open concept living area has a fully equipped kitchen, dining table and sitting/tv area. The main bath has a bathtub and washer/dryer, while the ensuite has a walk in shower. Bedrooms come with a queen bed and a daybed that converts to a king. Parking for two vehicles is in front and right of the small garden below the bedroom window.

Other things to note
Port Renfrew is a 2 hour drive from Victoria or Nanaimo. Fairy and Lizard lakes are just a short 10-25 minute drive away. Avatar Grove is a popular hike through old growth forest and is home to Canada's gnarliest tree. Just past Avatar Grove is Big Lonely Doug (Canada's second largest Douglas fir) and the new Eden Grove trail (a short walk past Big Doug). Kayaking, surfing and paddle boarding are other available activities. Amenities include a gas station, EV charging station, small grocery/liquor store, Bridgeman's Bistro, Port Renfrew Pub, Coastal Kitchen (seasonal), Tomi's cafe and seasonal food trucks.

Place was great, hard to read the numbers on the unit in the dark though, found it on the 3rd lap.Centre switch broken in the bathroom and the floor is burning from the vent under the sink, just an FYI.

Very impressed with the cleanliness of the unit and how well it was stocked. The location was second to none. We loved our stay and hope to return soon. The owner was very quick to respond to any questions we had. Love this place
