Lovely apartment in the heart of Santa Margherita Ligure

The apartment is very central close to shops, beach, restaurants and the town centre. The two bathrooms have been renovated and were the best feature in the apartment. It is an old apartment, I have no problem with that however it wasn’t very clean but rather dusty, the curtains were dirty and the bedding was old. My granddaughter who was traveling with me wouldn’t sleep in the bunk beds as the bedding was dusty & old. The cupboards to hang your clothes were also very dusty and we would often find balls of dust on our clothes. The floor tiles are very old and with a bit of restoration could be beautiful but they look dirty with several tiles being loose.The kitchen is ok there is a full size dishwasher and is well equipped however the freezer box was thick in ice with a bag of something stuck in it along with two celery sticks frozen in the ice. That to me is not acceptable and it should have been clean. There is no Wi-Fi the modem is there but disconnected and I was told Santa has good public Wi-Fi, this to me is not acceptable for a long stay as to do banking, pay bills etc is not secure on a public platform. There is a restaurant downstairs under the bedroom so it can be a little noisy in the evening. I personally wouldn’t stay there again as I feel standards most normal people expect weren’t there, especially when I saw the apartment across the hall which is also a rental which was beautiful, lovely white sheets, big bath towels unlike the small ones I was provided with.

This is a basic older apartment located on a traffic circle and with a restaurant below so it can get pretty noisy. The apartment has few amenities although it does have a washing machine which comes in handy. It is a block from a COOP supermarket and close to many restaurants, cafes, pastry shops, etc. There’s no AC so the apartment can get pretty warm. It has a functional kitchen with a dishwasher, two bathrooms and two modest bedrooms.
