Alles was perfect!

Each property has its own private garden and it was lovely to sit outside surrounded by birdsong. The site is well maintained and has good facilities, including daily fresh bread to order.. There are pleasant walks in the adjacent woods. Staff are helpful and friendly, and we were warmly welcomed. We had an excellent meal at the Hof van Dalfsen, 10 minutes on foot.

Although the property was very clean, it smelt strongly of stale smoke when we arrived and made for an unpleasant first night. Pleased to say that the smell virtually disappeared after a day with the windows and doors open. For info: we booked a 3-bedroomed house accommodating up to six people. There are two potential issues with its layout. Firstly, the stairs are very steep and narrow, almost like a ladder. Once upstairs, the second upstairs bedroom is accessible only via the first: - not a problem for the two of us but might have caused difficulties for larger groups. I think that both of these factors should be stated clearly in the property details.The third bedroom is on the ground floor - easy!
