About this house rental
If you would like to enjoy seeing the sights of Rome and then relax in a quiet place far from traffic noise, you can choose Casa Fratocchi apartment. Located just a few underground stops away from the most important sights in Rome, the apartment is the annex of a one family house in Rome that lies in a quiet neighbourhood far from the traffic noise of big cities but very near to the metro station of Arco di Travertino with which is very easy to reach the centre of the town. The apartment has 2 bedrooms, 1 with double bed (on request we can add another bed) and the other with 2 single beds, one bath with shower and a well-equipped kitchen (microwave, mixer). TV, free WI-FI and air conditioning are available. A table and four chairs under a garden umbrella let you have lunch or dinner outside when the weather is good and let you relax after a long sightseeing of Rome. On request you can park in the courtyard(for a small extra charge).

In the neighbourhood: Parco della Caffarella (Appia Antica Park): from here you can take a pleasant and long walk or ride to the Appia Antica. You can rent bicycles near the park. Parco dell' Antica via Latina contains the tombs of the ancient Roman time with very important stucco and fresco decorations.
Connections: Connection to the centre: Underground A (red line) - Bus 85. Appia Antica (Tomb of Cecilia Metella - St. Sebastian catacombs): Bus 660 - By bicycle. Termini Station: 10 Minutes by underground // Ciampino Airport: 45 minutes: Underground and Bus. Fiumicino Airport: 1 hour: train and underground.

My children and I really liked this place! Martina was a great host. The place was close to the metro and that made traveling around easy. We would definitely recommend it.

Available, very nice, and welcoming host. Also enjoyed seeing their quiet and gentle dog every day. The house was charming, with a nice private yard,and all the conveniences. Few minute walk to the metro A line. Nice local and non-touristy neighborhood, including with archaeological sites to visit. Good restaurants, and nearby grocery store. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you, Martina and Leonardo!

We had a lovely stay at this property. The owner was flexible with our arrival times and greeted us on our way in with some tips for navigating the area. The area across the road is a little run down looking, but we never felt unsafe. The house was beautiful, with a nice little patio to sit on in the mornings. There is also a metro station just down the road for easy transportation to and from the city and she also offered to set up our cab to the airport on the day of our departure. I will definitely be keeping this property in mind if we visit again!
