About this villa rental
Le Cicale is an elegant countryhouse near the beaches, it is situated not far the village of Menfi, one of the most famous sicilian wine producing area. The area is also well-known for its clean waters and beautiful sandy beaches. A very large panoramic terrace has both a dining and relaxation area with splendid views over the surrounding vineyards and the sea. Close to the terrace is a small infinity pool offering the same splendid views.
The elegant interior incorporate both character with contemporary style, the house has all the usual mod-cons from air conditioning to WiFi. Comprising two single-storey buildings, the villa’s main house has a stylish and airy sitting room with whitewashed beams, a fireplace and open access to the dining room. This, in turn, leads into the smart and modern kitchen, a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom and a twin (or double) with en-suite shower room complete the interior layout of the main house. To the rear, ten meters from the main house, an annexe with a lovely small terrace contains a further two twin (or double) bedrooms each with en-suite shower room.

The villa was larger than expected so spacious and well equipped. The outside area provided several different occasional areas and plenty chairs and beds. We loved having breakfast on the patio. The lounge area was very comfortable and having a Tv with apps was great for the evening to watch Netflix.The pool was lovely but very cold and difficult for anyone not very stable as nothing to hold onto to get in/out so we didn’t use it much.Also a couple storms meant lots garden leaves kept blowing in as no cover, but every few days the pool man came and cleaned which was great.

A week in early June at this beautiful villa with amazing views across vineyards to the sea. Very quiet and secluded location with a perfect swimming pool. Very well stocked kitchen, sumptuous seating indoors and outside. Four comfortable bedrooms all with ensuite. Great location for sandy beaches and fabulous archaeological sites (Selinute). Good shopping only minutes away in Menfi. For the very best seafood visit Kalea, Porto Palo. Really helpful host in Aldo, lots of good advice and easily contactable.
