About this house rental
The beautiful vacation house is located only 40 minutes from Athens and near the beautiful sandy beach of Marathon Schinias. The house is surrounded by beautiful landscaped gardens with trees and colorful flowers and lots of greenery The garden on the left side offers a fully equipped barbecue area, here you can prepare a nice meal for your family. Right next to the barbecue area is built its own bar, where you can enjoy a refreshing drink in the cool shade. There is also an outdoor bathroom with toilet, shower and hot water.
The house has a large pool with spacious terraces, ideal for sunbathing, with comfortable sun loungers and tables to enjoy your breakfast. The interior of the house offers plenty of natural light and has a particularly cozy feel with wooden ceilings.
On the first floor there are three large and very comfortable rooms, tastefully decorated. Each room has its own character and a private veranda. The fourth bed is located on the upper level. This room has its own terrace overlooking the pool and faces the sunset.
By the swimming pool is another bathroom.
The managed sandy beach of Schinias is close to the house and offers many opportunities for water sports and beach activities. There are also restaurants and cafes in the area where you can try the local specialties. A visit to Marathon Lake is highly recommended. Here you can take a walk or have lunch at the restaurant with a breathtaking view over the lake.

We had a wonderful, relaxing holiday at the villa. The beautiful, extensive and enclosed gardens with a sizeable pool and barbecue and bar area kept us happy and occupied for many an hour.
The trees with abundance of fruit and nooks and spaces for dining or relaxing added to the Greek feel.
Inside the villa, there was a very authentic style of decor that has Greek charm and lots of original quirks and features.
I would recommend hiring a car, private transfer or taxi as the area is a bit remote. We used Geo Mediterra, as we needed a people carrier. Stavros
offered an amazing service of picks ups/drop offs and guided tours and we couldn’t recommend him highly enough. An amazing service!
Christianna, our host at the villa was really friendly, welcoming and helpful and offered lots of suggestions and recommendations.
I highly recommend the villa and we would happily stay there again.
