Hi,
You’ll be staying in a lovingly furnished, non-smoking vacation home with a cozy atmosphere, idyllically located at the end of a cul-de-sac in a small, quiet community of detached vacation homes on the outskirts of Detern-Stickhausen—a state-recognized resort town on the sunny side of East Frisia.
The Spökenkieker house offers approximately 70 m² of living space across two floors and can accommodate up to four people. The upper floor features two bedrooms: one with a cozy box-spring bed (160 × 200 cm) and a crib, and the other with two single beds (100 × 200 cm).
Your dog is also very welcome here!

A swimming lake is within walking distance (about 20 minutes)
Fishing in the surrounding waters

The city of Leer (approx. 20 km) and the Netherlands (approx. 30 min. drive to the border)
Meyer Shipyard in Papenburg (approx. 45 km) – well worth a visit
Hobby Rhododendron Park in Westerstede (70 ha, approx. 25-minute drive) for nature and garden lovers
A wide range of recreational activities for children – information available at the Detern Tourist Information Office (2-minute walk)
A bicycle provided by the property is available for bike tours (at your own risk). Additional e-bikes, bicycles, and children’s bikes, as well as canoes and kayaks, can be rented for a fee at the Paddel & Pedal Station (2-minute walk, right on the Jümme River). The East Frisian bike path network is very well developed.
