Also known as the “little French Tuscany,” this authentic region halfway between Bordeaux and Toulouse offers a luminous, gentle landscape that bears witness to a preserved and unassuming past. The markets take you on a journey through France’s orchards and vegetable gardens; the local accent sings of the southern sun; life is simple; and the nearby Lastournelles Cave holds its own mystery.
After a fulfilling day of strolling through the surrounding villages and bastides—such as Pujols, Penne-d’Agenais, or Prayssas—you can cool off in your large, private 10 x 5 m saltwater pool, admiring a new sunset each evening, gazing off into the horizon, or sipping your favorite drink while comfortably seated in the shade of the porch adjoining the pool in the summer lounge, letting the aroma from the barbecue or plancha tickle your nostrils—a promise of a most convivial evening.
